Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
The National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) run an annual competition to find the nation’s best Young Market Trader and Swansea Market has partnered with them to champion the fantastic young talent that we have in South Wales.
It’s FREE and so easy to take part! A pitch and power will be provided to you and there are four different categories to compete in – Groceries, General Retail, Arts & Crafts and Food & Drink.
To register your interest, just complete this simple online form.
You’ll then be invited to the Swansea Market local heat on Saturday 25 May. Impress the judges and you’re guaranteed a place at the South Wales Regional Final in Swansea on Saturday 27 July.
Last year 10 young traders from the South Wales Regional Final went on to compete in the Grand Final in Stratford-upon-Avon.
So if you’re aged between 16 and 30, and:
- Have a new business or a business idea that you’d like to test, or
- Are already an established trader but looking for more exposure for your business, or
- Have an existing business but have not yet tried retail
